- Prepare 200 of Grams Flour maida.
- It's 2 Teaspoons of Baking Powder.
- You need 1 Teaspoon of Soda Bicarbonate.
- You need 125 Grams of Butter.
- You need 125 Grams of Sugar.
- You need 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon Powder.
- It's 4 Drops of Vanilla Essence.
- It's 3 of Bananas.
- Prepare 2 of egg.
- Prepare 50 Grams of Dry Fruits.
Banana Cinnamon Cake step by step
- Take a pressure cooker and place it on a pan. Then place the pan on flame for preheating. Meanwhile prepare the cake batter..
- In first bowl beat eggs, melted butter, vanilla essence and powdered sugar together. We can use the electric mixer too for beating it until completely incorporated, rest for 5 min and then repeat, so the mix should be very light and fluffy..
- In second bowl, sieve the dry ingredients like maida flour, cinnamon powder, baking soda and soda bicarbonate and mix. Add mashed bananas and dry fruits and mix well..
- Then in the first bowl add the second bowl's mixture slowly slowly like in 2 or 3 portions so that while mixing all there should be no lumps..
- For mixing these mixture, a wooden spoon can be used as cut n fold method so that the air bubbles will be intact for fluffy spongy cake..
- Once mixing done, grease the baking tin with little butter and then dust with 1 tbsp flour, tap the tin well and remove the extra flour from it..
- Then pour the batter into this and place into the preheated cooker. Then close the lid without whistle and cook for 20-25 minutes or until done on low flame..
- We can check the cake by opening the lid and insert a toothpick or knife in the center of the cake, if it comes out clean then the cake is ready..
- Remove from flame, and cool it for sometime. The cake would slide out of the tin easily, so no need of loosening the cake. Sift icing sugar on top..
