I threw the long recipe away and have replaced it with this one. In a small bowl, mix mashed bananas with the lemon juice; set aside. In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
